Ridiculous Nicholas he is my friend.
But on several occasions and now and again
He gets into trouble for letting his temper get the best of him.
Oh he's sweet and he's smart, he's funny & cunning…
But when he gets angry you better go running
For he has a temper, a temper so bad,
It's really easy to know that he's mad.
His face turns all red and his voice gets real loud.
He stomps his feet and screams and shouts,
But that's not all that Nick will do…
He sometimes throws a punch or two!
He never listens cause he's always right.
He's always first to start a fight.
He argues that the sky's not blue.
Even though he knows that it's not true.
He steals toys from his little sister.
Lord I'm afraid of what he'll do to the sitter.
A know it all at the age of four,
But that's not it, no, there is more.
He has to be first and never last,
The leader for every event in class.
He must be praised for breathing air,
And when he enters the room you must rise from your chair.
But I love him so much, so much you see,
For he's more than a friend, he's a son to me.
